Tucked into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains along the banks of the Stilliguamish River, this extraordinary seventy-two acre estate in Oso, Washington unfolds across a breathtaking vertical landscape, from a private river rock beach to sweeping mountain views at 1,000 feet where glacier capped White Horse and Three Fingers preside over the valley below.

BROOKS CREEK: A LOVE STORY, YEARS IN THE MAKING
Brooks Creek was created by Jacqueline and Steve Kennard over nearly three decades as a family compound and labor of love. Steve passed away after a courageous four-year journey with cancer, and it is with that context that Jacqueline has made the decision to sell.
She maintains a full-scale equestrian farm in Ocala, Florida that requires her full attention, and the reality of managing two significant properties across the country is no longer practical. The winery was Steve's passion at its heart, and while the property holds profound meaning, Jacqueline's life and work are anchored in Florida.
The Heart of Brooks Creek: The Lodge on the Stilliguamish
It begins at the water. The Stilliguamish runs along the property's edge, its stones worn smooth and its voice constant, a companion to morning coffee and evening fires alike. The transformation required vision and artisanship in equal measure, and the result is a space that feels equally at home in Burgundy or the Willamette Valley.
Beyond the winery, established trails wind through the upper property and into one of its most remarkable natural secrets. Follow the path and you arrive at a gathering of more than eight natural springs bubbling quietly from the earth, each one independent, each one constant. They find one another and merge into a small stream that makes its quiet way down through the landscape to the river below. It is the kind of place that stops people mid-sentence. The vineyards were planted in 2011 with two special clonal selections: Pinot Noir on the larger parcel and Siegerrebe, a dry Riesling that thrives in Western Washington's cool maritime climate. The first vintage was harvested in 2016, and by 2020 Brooks Creek wines had earned five medals at the National Winemaker Pro competition, a prestigious event for non-commercial estates. The wins have continued. Everything needed to carry the program forward is already here.
Beneath it all flows one of the finest artesian wells in the region. The water is effervescent and remarkably pure. Those who drink it say you can feel the difference.
As the sun drops behind the peaks and the valley settles into golden hour, the upper property reveals one more gift. A thoughtfully designed outdoor entertainment area anchors the ridge, centered around a regulation Bocce court and a fire table built for the cool mountain evenings that descend on Oso from late summer onward. It is the kind of space where dinners stretch into late conversations, where guests linger without wanting to leave. the farm: equestrian living
